Frequently asked Questions:

Q: Do I need a Maryland license?
A: Yes. Active Maryland license, DEA certificate, and state drug certificate are required.

Q: I am able to get/activate a lic and/or certificates fast.  Can we start the process?
A: Might not be a good idea or efficient use of your time.  Client will not stop recruiting.  Licensed dentists will always be given preference.

Q: Can I work less days or hours?
A: No.  No part-time available

Q: Can I call the practice and talk to them?
A: No. Our client has hired us as a gatekeeper.  If you are selected for consideration by our client , the lines of communication will be opened, starting with a telephone interview.

Q: Can I try it out to see if I like it?
A: Short working interview may be possible, but only for one or two days.  Due diligence is recommended before accepting any position. Get a clear picture of what you are getting into.

Q: What is the process for getting started.
A:  If you have not done so, email your current CV to blong@ajriggins.com with "Eastern Shore" as the subject.  If your CV shows that clinical and experience requirements are met, then we request additional information and run a background check on you that includes an NPDB query, a check with state Dental Boards, a medical attestation, supervisor references, and request credentials be submitted. If results are acceptable you will be considered along with other candidates for presentation to our client.  Our client will then select candidates for interview.
