Q: I need some days off during the assignment. Is this a problem?
A: No problem, as long as all parties agree in advance.
Q: Can I try it out to see if I like it?
A: No. All of our temp assignments are "at will", which means that, legally, all parties can end the assignment at any time, with the agreed notice. However, we are expecting original commitments to be kept. The only acceptable reasons for ending an assignment early are prolonged illness or prolonged family emergency. Remember, this is a temporary assignment, not a 10 year commitment.
Q: What is the process for getting started.
A: If you have not done so, email your current CV to blong@ajriggins.com with "East Texas" as the subject. If your CV shows that clinical and experience requirements are met, then we request additional information and run a background check on you that includes an NPDB query, a check with state Boards, a medical attestation, supervisor references, and request credentials be submitted. If results are acceptable you will be considered along with other candidates for presentation to our client. Our client will then select candidates for interview.
